Tiny little cities made of ash, 2010

There is no up
no down
only around
as the hills and valleys erode with water
the time passes
ever slower

all built is soon lost
all found never seen
hidden in the valleys
lain tiny cities built of ash
rolling waves of little
specs dripping black
onto the ground

with each breath fall
tiny cities made of ash

as foundations tumble
eroding the earth

making valleys filled
with tiny cities made of ash
whose walls keep tumbling down

nor wind,
nor rain
can be prevented
causing the little cities
to tumble
tumble to the ground

stone turns to sand
on which are built
tiny cities made of ash.

we fade from light
fall from grace
but such is life
the life I face

My world crying for light
Yet tiny cities made of ash
crumble into the night

when the blue again shimmers
in her eye's life
appears beside whether
cactus or fire fly

The world begins again
memories fade to view
as all returns to mind again
to whisper light

my eyes close and
my mind gathers sight
her eye's I see again
bringing me light.

nor money nor glory
can be remembered
for the memory
from the beginning
or the end
it will never shone so bright
as what I felt that night.

time erases all things
us forgiving ourselves
the forgotten lost
to tiny cities made of ash

with praise for the remembered
can never I see the light
which shone so
brightly in her eyes

the hope of a child
the love of a boy
the lust of a man
for her color to be
his once again

Tiny cities made of Ashe
crumbling
exploding
Burning
toiling
wiping away the past
while the present burns
the past turns to Ash
the future stocks the flame

tiny cities full of salty Ashe
crumbling with each tear
sigh of sorrowful regret
compacting the Ashe
finally turning to coal

From the pressure of moments past
coal forms diamond
diamond a foundation for the future

A mouse turning milk to butter
I build the foundation I walk on
further known as me

nor possession
nor faith
nor fate
can hope to accomplish
the very jest
of a life lived
in cruel humor

but the stars
the golden strands
of the suns blue light

for she watches tiny
cities made of ash
crumble
and
rise
Threw her very eye's

.

It is what it is...

It's the absolute truth, at the end of the day it doesn't matter.  Almost nothing really does. I have one life, one time around and one chance to experience this world.  The people in it and everything it has to offer. I've lived my life by this philosophy since I was young and I probably will until I die. Life is about the experience, we have laws so we don't fuck up someone else's.  Theres plenty of people who can do whatever.  Only I am suited to be me, and live my life. So it is what it is.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste

The mind is a terrible thing to waste, but Always the first to go and mine left a long, LONG time ago. That thing,  yup that one the thing can't you feel the thing? it's a thing. How can I explain a thing to you when all you see is things? look at it, the thing? Don't you get it yet? It's a thing.  What's it look like? A hole, somewhere gone and previously lost.  Noooooo The thing! It's a thing, a thingama thing. Don't try to turn it into your THingama thing... It's my thingama thing of thing. It's not like yours, for I am fundamentally different from you, as I desire, nothing... Everything you see for my possesion of the thing does not make it mine.  Nor your idea of the thing yours. We agree it's a thing though...? DOn't we? The thing... The thingama thing.  That one, in your chest... It's a thingama thing, but I'm missing a piece of the one in mine. What...

Hermit Crabs

That is okay, so there was once upon a time a girl. She was a very pretty girl, beautiful even and didn't know her own strength or weakness. One day she met a boy, see she'd had something to fill in her life. An empty spot of sorts a place she could entrust to anyone and so she felt she wasn't enough for anyone. She was tall and blessed by man gifts, whether they were for others to bare witness to or not was for her to choose.  She never felt like she was enough, but something went wrong when she met the boy. It wasn't the kind of eye's or gaze that she'd been used to. She was used to be seen as something, she had always been something, always people knew her and she soon realized that no one really did. The boys eyes weren't exactly like other people's, you could see the desire in other people's. You could see them reaching for a brass ring, they wanted something, always wanted something from her.  It wasn't like living a life, i...
